To close out fast21 a group of leaders decided to gather together to talk about what the Lord spoke over us as a corporate body in the state.

Coming out of the fast there a couple major themes that the Lord was speaking to us as his children at the different locations throughout MN:

1. The Father's Heart and Son-ship- The Lord is calling the state to gain a revelation of the Father heart of God. For we were not given the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, rather we were given the spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry Abba Father, the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and fellow-heirs with Christ... We must all walk as sons of the Almighty God and the best dad in the whole world. What does it mean to live as sons of God who are confident in the approval of their Father? What does it mean to be beloved royalty! It is the key for us to walk out the mandate of Malachi 4:6 as His children.

2. Receiving- Receiving the love of the Father and setting ourselves before Him to just be with Him and not to do anything for Him is a hard lesson to learn but is so key for each one of us.

3. Humility- A correct understanding of humility is a key for us as a corporate body in moving forward into our destiny. To agree with who the Lord says we are is true humility.

following is a prophetic oracle that came during worship, He has a plan for us that we still must press in deeper to know! Jesus, You are amazing!!!

My Word says: ”Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which I have prepared for those who love Me.” (1 Corinthians 2:9) It’s not about the mansion I have gone to prepare for you. It’s not about the eternity I have spent so much time longing for. It’s not about the way off future. It’s about the things I have prepared for you, My Bride! My hands will not do this work I have prepared, your hands will do this work. I said “Most assuredly, when you believe in Me, the works that I do you will do also; and greater works than these you will do…” (John 14:12) You have to believe Me! You need to know the thoughts of My heart. These things I have prepared for you are only for you. I have no “plan B.” You are it! If you do not rise to this occasion, none of what I prepared for you will happen. These things I have prepared for you are My grace for you, the grace I long to pour out all over you…the Eden I AM restoring through you. Long ago, in eternity past, I favored you for that one thing I would call you to, the thing I prepared for you – for I set My affections of love upon you!

I am as steadfast as the morning, but it still needs the sun to rise to be complete. Just as the night is not completed until the moon and stars come out, as the shore is nothing without the treasure the waves of the ocean wash upon its face, as the ocean is nothing without the deep, the things I have prepared for you are not complete without your heart waiting upon Me.

Wait on me…I have come to My table of delights but you are only content to bring Me what you like from My table. I long for My pleasure, not what you think I like. It’s like you have already figured out what My pleasure with you is, and you have not even thought of waiting on Me! All I want is for you to know My heart to keep you so near Me.

My heart is the treasure map to indescribable hungerings and pleasures in Me. You will only find the purity of My preparations for you by waiting on Me!!! You cant know any other way. Do not deceive yourself.

Humble yourself…I will have my way because you will give your will to Me…I will teach you to walk in My ways. Come to Me I long for you.

Tonight the importance of receiving was the theme that the Holy Spirit highlighted in our hearts as we gathered together for our third and final Saturday.

Jesus taught this in Mark 10:15 saying "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Saturday we came as children to sit upon our Heavenly Father's lap, and to receive from Him, and to experience His pleasure of meeting with His kids! (Lk 12:32)

Most of the night was spent in a posture much like that of Mary of Bethany, sitting at the feet of our bridegroom and hearing his voice! The joy of no agenda, no program, and just the freedom to rest in His presence was the heartbeat of this gathering!

Again we closed with gathering together side by side to worship the Lord singing highest praises and singing before the Lord.

Feb 4 : Prayer for Campuses @ the Lighthouse

College students came together this night to life up our generation that is lost, broken, hurting, and in desperate need of Jesus. The night began with quite worship to prepare our hearts.

We broke off into groups and prayer through the ACTS model.

Adoration - Let's be a generation that draws near to God, that comes to know His characteristics so that we can testify to younger generation. Praise Him for who He is. "I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise. His greatness no one can fathom! One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty." Psalm 145

Confession - Confessions were made for the sins of our generation. "Search me, O God, and konw my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139

Thanksgiving - We all turned towards the middle and shared testimonies. One painted a beautiful pictures, "Lately, I've realized how I have been holding God at a distance. I've tried to do life on my own while keeping God at arms length, rejecting the help, joy and life that He has to offer. He has spoken to me, 'My child, put your stiff arm down and let me in.'"

Supplication - We corporately lifted up the 56 college campuses and universities of the Twin Cities. A blank canvas that lay in the middle of our circle slowly filled up with each campus name as prayer continued. To finish, a large cross was painted over the middle, symbolizing Jesus's grace and salvation for each campus.

"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience. Let us hold unsweringly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as we see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10

Feb.3,2010 TCHOP @ North Heights

As we gathered two main points were highlighted:
1. having our identity rooted in the love of God
2. growing in love for one another by growing in the humility of Christ, Philippians 2:2-8.

Then prayed in a small group setting.
After prayer we worshipped Jesus our King through song for an extended time!
This led into intercession to return to our 1st Love, Revelation 2:4,5.

In the night, I awoke and the Lord showed me a picture of the Sate of Minnesota. It was dark and here and there were bright fires. Out of each fire was flowing a river of fire. All of the rivers flowed together and flowed southward into one river.

I beileve the fires are speaking of the prayer movement in MN and tht the Lord wants to bring unity to His praying church.

The evening started with John 4:34-38 as we prayed for the harvest in our city, asking for the Father’s timing & purpose. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”—John 4:34-38

We also prayed for the Kingdom here in the Twin Cities: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. –Matthew 11:12

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. –Matthew 6:33 Father bring a release of what You are longing for!

We spent time responding to a word about anointing – broken, pressed, crushed – asking that the Church in the city would bring an offering that costs. “and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” –Romans 8:17

We then had words & prayers centered around not just having lip service but having hearts that are after God & Him pouring out His fire on our city, causing an overflow into the state, the country, than the world. Awaken your Bride & raise up warriors to break down strongholds so there can be a deeper intimacy with Jesus!

Your own wickedness will correct you, And your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the LORD your God, And the fear of Me is not in you,” Says the Lord GOD of hosts. –Jeremiah 2:19

Then I looked, and there was a likeness, like the appearance of fire—from the appearance of His waist and downward, fire; and from His waist and upward, like the appearance of brightness, like the color of amber. –Ezekiel 8:2

Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth, Andhonor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. –Matthew 15:7-8

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. –Isaiah 52:1

State Wide Corporate Meeting 1/30/10

Tonight the unconditional love of God was the theme that the Holy Spirit highlighted in our hearts as we gathered together for our second Saturday.

1 John 4:7-21 were scriptures that led us into praying for each other to receive the unconditional love of the God-head. So often we find ourselves trapped in the system of performing before the Lord to earn His love.

Before the meeting one individual was struck with the words that the Lord spoke to him: "What are you earning from me with this fast? My approval? It's yours. My Love? You're my beloved. Posture your heart to just receive. You have nothing to prove."

Oh how we were struck with the reality that at the core of our religiosity, pride, our un-forgiveness, and our sin is our inability to believe, trust and experience the unconditional love of our Father and his Son.

We took time as well to pray over the state of Minnesota as a corporate body and in small groups: praying that God would encounter the body of Christ with his love and that the people of God wold in turn love one another.

Again we closed with gathering together side by side to worship the Lord singing highest praises and singing before the Lord.

Two different people received visions about Minnesota tonight that were almost identical, this is one of them:

"The Lord showed me a picture of the State of Minnesota. I saw many small fires around the state that turned into one great fire. As I continued to look at the state, all I could see was fire.
Then I saw the smoke arising from the fire and had the understanding that the smoke was the incense of the praise and prayers of the saints in Minnesota. The smoke then started to spread across state lines and eventually the whole nation. And then the Lord said, "Minnesota will be an example to other states. Eyes will turn to Minnesota."

In the other vision that was shared tonight, an individual saw the Lord breath in the incense from Minnesota and then breath out over Minnesota unconditional love and truth as a response to our prayers and praise.

Be blessed Minnesota, the eyes of a nation are turning to you.

Your lives are so filled with Hollywood, with the media, with the clamor of this world that YOU DO NOT HEAR ME. My Bride, you do not hear me. Oh my Bride, come back, come back, come back, come back, come back, come and dwell in the secret place in my Presence, come and dwell in my glory, come and dwell in my rich presence and be SATISFIED. Come and eat from my table, come and feast oh my Bride, come to me! My Bride, rid your self of the things of this world, the clamor of this world and come and seek my Presence, my Holiness, my dwelling place. Oh my Bride, your soul is dead! Your soul is dead… it is asleep to my voice and awake to the voice of this world. My Bride, my Bride, why have you FORSAKEN ME??? Why have you chosen this world over ME?? WHY? WHY? WHY? When I have given MY VERY LIFE for you out of a longing to commune with you and have intimacy with you… WHY?! Why have you given your life over to lust, to Hollywood, to the entertainment of this world, seeking the pleasure and satisfaction of the WORLD OVER ME??! Why, oh my Bride do you choose things that bring death, spiritual dryness and spiritual death instead of choosing ME and my waters of LIFE, TRUE LIFE?!! TRUE LIFE can be yours but yet you desire to give your time to meaningless things, things of this world… Oh my Bride, how can you be so blind?! So blind to my TRUTH? I AM LIFE. I AM TRUTH. TRUE LIFE IS IN ME. IN ME… IN ME ALONE! TRUE LIFE IS FOUND IN MY PRESENCE ALONE!!!!! Not in the presence of a computer screen or a TV screen!!!! You have thrown it to the pigs – you have given your time and life to meaningless things… OH MY BRIDE!!! I CRY OUT TO YOU TO RETURN, RETURN, RETURN to me with EVERYTHING. My Bride, I BEG you to stop trying to please me by living with one foot in the things of this world and the other attempting to follow me… my BRIDE! I AM CALLING YOU TO FULL SURRENDER, TO FOLLOW ME WITH EVERYTHING – to seek my presence MORE than the pleasures of this world… the enticing food of the enemy… my Bride, WHERE is your HUNGER for my WORD? Where is your hunger for the outpouring of my Spirit? My Bride, my Bride, do you not realize you have become a hypocrite, a Pharisee – saying you love me with all your heart yet are constantly dwelling in the presence of TV’s, computers and other humans… WHEN, OH WHEN, WILL YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART???? WHEN will you learn to lay down EVERYTHING and PURSUE ME IN THE SECRET PLACE? Oh my Bride, I AM WAITING. I AM WAITING. I DO NOT WANT TO MEET YOU ONLY AT CHURCH OR A CHAPEL TIME OR A BIBLE STUDY OR PRAYER TIME. BELOVED, I LONG TO MEET YOU IN THE SECRET PLACE… I long for you to dress your self in the garments of praise, garments of holiness and purity and sacrifice all to come and meet with me in the Holy of Holies. Oh my Bride, I DESIRE INTIMACY, TRUE INTIMACY with you… NOT, NOT a shallow one way conversation, not simply a little ‘quiet time’ … but TRUE DEEP INTIMACY. My Bride, why are you so consumed in trying to DO my will that you lose your hunger and desire to seek my face, experience my Presence and fall deeper in love and intimacy with your King? My Beloved, do you not realize that my PERFECT WILL, WILL be done through you AS YOU PURSUE ME WITH EVERY PART OF YOUR HEART????? Repent, oh my Bride, repent before your God, for you have given your self to other lovers – for the way you spend your time reveals what you love – it proves where your heart is… My Bride, I am calling you to give up your idols… your pleasures on earth… in order to seek the supernatural pleasures of heaven… my Bride you have allowed your heart to become cold, numb and dry… you have allowed it to get used to the pleasures of this world; the music of this world, the media of this world, the food of this world, the entertainment of the world… my Bride, this should not be. My Bride… I am a jealous Lover… WHERE is your desperation for me, where is your hunger and desire for intimacy with me? Where is your passion to worship your KING?? My Bride… you have given away your heart without even realizing it… Oh my Bride… you do not know what it means to be still before your God… Oh my Bride you do not know what it means to WORSHIP me with all your heart and soul… in Spirit and in truth… where are my TRUE WORSHIPPERS??? Where are my WHOLEHEARTED LOVERS?? Why, oh my Bride, do you allow your self to be distracted…distracted by food, by lust, by relationships, sports, by responsibilities??? Oh my Bride, my Bride, HEAR THIS… Your responsibility is to LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD with all your heart, soul, mind and strength!!!!!! If you do not know what it means to worship me… to LOVE me with TRUE LOVE that is ARDENT and PASSIONATE and SACRIFICIAL… you cannot please my heart… oh my Bride, your surrender to the lusts of your flesh grieve my Spirit… they grieve my Spirit because I have GIVEN YOU POWER IN MY HOLY NAME TO OVERCOME YOUR FLESH BY THE POWER OF MY SPIRIT!!!! I would not ask you to be HOLY as I am HOLY if I could not help you MAKE IT A REALITY!! I have given you my Spirit and yet you push away my Spirit and conviction by eagerly desiring satisfaction of the flesh instead of giving your mind and actions to be surrendered to the control of the HOLY SPIRIT!!!! MY BRIDE I HATE COMPROMISE. I HATE MEDRIOCRITY. I HATE SELFISHNESS AND PRIDE. My Bride….I LOVE surrender, devotion, and abandon to my WORD, to my Spirit. My Bride, I LOVE humility, genuine hunger and desperation for righteousness and holiness… My Bride, My Bride… COME BACK… FIX YOUR GAZE ON ME, the Author and Perfector of your Faith… set your mind on things above, and HEAVENLY TRUTHS… TURN away from habits and desires that are led by your flesh…and turn back to me…fall into my embrace for my arms are open wide…My Bride, do NOT hesitate, do not linger in your sin, for I am coming soon! I am coming soon. My Bride, return to me… I am waiting to POUR DOWN the riches of heaven, the mysteries of heaven upon you in the secret place…my Bride, wait no longer, but RUN TO ME!!! I will give you Holiness, right motives, unmatched beauty, visions and dreams, HEALING OF YOUR WOUNDED HEART… I will give you a FIRE and PASSION for my NAME that NO MAN, NO SIN, NO EVIL POWER, NO TEMPTATION, NOTHING WILL BE ABLE TO PUT OUT!!! I will CLOTHE you in righteousness and ANOINT you with my oil of joy… my peace will saturate you and my Spirit will anoint you. I will give you a HOLY ADDICTION for my Presence, and HOLY INFATUATION with the KING OF KINGS. I will romance you like you could never imagine and I will give your soul DELIGHT like NOTING ELSE CAN. Thursday night: LightHouse College Gathering by Nick Cruz

Thursday night, 1/28/10 was more than "interesting." After some time in worship and a word from Hosea 6:3, our Nigerian brother Marcus began to pray aloud and many voices were lifted up in song and prayer. Together with Marcus' crying out, we punched a hole by the Spirit and the joyful presence of the Lord broke out. So as the message from Hosea 6, Ephesians 4, and Jeremiah 31 released faith, and the prayers of faith and the Song of the Lord released "Presence," joyful dancing, ministry, restoration, and healing ensued. Faith was strengthened and relationships were deepened. The promised healing of the broken heart happened as Isaiah 61:1 describes—a common thread of experience throughout this 21-day fast.

Here's what I shared concerning the outpouring of revelation:

Hosea 6:3: “Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord (press on to know Him). His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain (literal Hebrew meaning to "rain" is "violent pouring"), like the latter and former rain to the earth.”

A great shift is coming throughout the church. To inspire a greater pursuit of the Spirit of revelation and hunger for the knowledge of the Lord, I related the "violent rain" outpouring described in Hosea to the prophecy of the new covenant in Jeremiah 31:34, "No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,' declares the LORD." This great shift of "all of us knowing God for ourselves" will occur largely because of the outpouring of prophetic revelation and will have a "leveling" affect on church leadership.

In the past, America’s church was built on teachers and pastors rather than apostles and prophets. And as precious and necessary as pastors are, on their own, they will not be able to release this next move of God. The five-fold ministry has been given to see the whole body—including pastors and teachers—enter into the measure of FULL stature in Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 prophetically declares this truth: "It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." And Ephesians 4:13 will be fulfilled before Jesus returns for His victorious Bride.

As the body of Jesus Christ, we will always have certain distinctions and focuses in different ministries, boldly celebrating these specialties instead of disputing or disregarding them. We are seeing a measure of this happening now in various "awakenings," such as with John Arnott, Bill Johnson, Mike Bickle, and Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, and Todd Bentley. Church leaders are coming together, respectfully submitting to one another and openly working together to pursue the presence of God.

The greatest revelation of the kingdom is that it is not an organization. It is a Family. We can do many things in ministry but without a sense of family as our backdrop, we forget our personal identity and eternal purpose that is anchored in the unfathomable love of our Father. Relating to each other as family instead of a member of an organization tests us leaders because it can sometimes appear unfocused. Family spends a considerable amount of time simply hanging out and loving each other. In reality, family time is an intentional move by the Spirit that teaches us how to enjoy each other as family like we will be enjoying each other for eternity.

Last night, young adults gathered together at the Lighthouse Prayer Room to simply love each other and to enjoy being together with the Lord. Being led by the Spirit isn’t synonymous with spontaneity but it will always be organic. We’ve all seen what a prayer meeting looks like when a few can swing their swords but we will see the results when the family swings one sword (Is. 27:1).

Humility is receiving boldly as a child. The key to inheritance is our revelation of sonship. Servants are not heirs, only family has that privilege. The last portion of our time together was spent receiving from the Father and blessing His beautiful name. It is His good pleasure to give us His kingdom. We lined up together and declared with one voice, “Papa! Get me with your best shot!” Haha!

We had a great night that focused around the River of God flowing. There were different people that saw visions of the River. Two common themes "from" the River were healing & unity. We also talked about some of the visions from Saturday's corporate night that fit in perfectly with what Jesus was doing among us. Jesus, You're still the same God who turns the water into wine. Cause Your river to flood our new wine skin with new wine: for healing & unity!

Sunday Night Fast 21

As we began Sunday night's gathering we had the sense that we, as God's people are to be in a position of readiness. The words that have come to mind in the last few days are "to be consecrated", to be ready to hear the word of the Lord and to act upon it with "clean hands and a pure heart". We had a sweet sense of the Lord's presence as we worshiped; the Holy Spirit taking us back again and again to the throne room scene and declaring the holiness of Jesus.

Two themes kept coming up as the night went on; fire and dwelling. Like a Jack Pine cone where fire is necessary to release the seed, God is releasing fire to burn up the old in order to release the seed and bring on new growth. The fire also serves to ignite hearts for both a new holy zeal, and a new zeal for holiness.

The second theme was to dwell; to stay in that place of rest in order clearly hear the instructions of the Lord. Dwelling in peace and hiddenness serves as both a place of protection from the enemy and a stage of ambush against him, as we wait upon the Lord for strategy.

State Wide Corporate Meeting- by Josh Krehbiel

Last night as many gathered at the Twin Cities house of Prayer (located at North Heights Lutheran Church on Rice Street) the Lord brought us on a journey that was much unlike any prayer meeting that most of us had ever been too. We began the night and closed the night by drawing our eyes upward in worship.

The Holy Spirit led the group into a time of repentance on an individual level for a large chunk of the meeting. It is clear that the Lord is calling us to put on our new nature and to put to death the things of the flesh. Tonight, we were brought into the understanding that the Lord is giving us one of the keys to recieving a new wine skin for the state of Minnesota: embracing the Holy Spirit's conviction and walking in repentance (Isaiah 57:15).

There was also much time spent on praying for each other. The Lord worked on our hearts in some powerful ways during this time.

To close out the night the whole group came together at the front of the sanctuary in a close huddle to sing our "highest praises to the Lamb of God." The Holy Spirit's presence rested upon us in a tangible manner as we were huddled together singing... it was powerful!

Here is a key thing that the Lord spoke tonight over the State that was placed in the Fast21 bucket at the end of the night:

While we were praying, I saw this vision:
I saw all of us sitting in a well lit room- like a waiting room in a clinic. I saw all of us getting our feet washed from our daily sins (John 13:10). Then I saw that all of us were hooked-up to an IV drip. I asked the Lord what this was, and he responded by saying this IV drip is "fresh revelation" from the Holy Spirit for us during this 21 day fast. That we will be renewed in the spirit of our minds, and that we would put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:23-24
The key is to "SIT" still and receive the "fresh revelation." If we move, we will pull out the IV and it will hurt.

Kick off to Fast21 at Awake MN...by Clint Wolcyn

Well beloved here we go! 21 Days of feasting on God's word and hearing what He is saying to the church in MN! I look forward the unity that will be created as we consecrate ourselves to come into a deeper allegiance to Jesus Christ.

Some thoughts of mine before reporting how the first day of Awake MN went:

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. (Heb 11:8) Like Abraham we also are stepping out in obedience to what we know to be the voice of our Good Shepherd. This opportunity will allow us to further grow in trust, discernment, and faith.

That said, the little inkling I sense is that we are entering a time of receiving revelation. (Matt 16:13-19) The question asked by Jesus here is, "Who do we say He is?" The primary purpose for the Holy Spirit being sent to earth is to answer this question in the depths of our heart. This is a three fold question to which we are revealed who God is, our identity in Him, and then His plan to which we have an invitation to join in! It is a time of the Holy Spirit bringing what we now have as merely doctrine into a living experience. Revelation proceeds faith, which always produces a corresponding action. Be prepared because God will speak during this fast, then we must obey.

Awake MN Conference: It was a true blessing to hear both Cindy Jacobs and Chuck Pierce share the word of the Lord with us. Here are some highlights of what they both spoke over MN.

Cindy: Awake, awake you who sleep! There is a battle taking place and it is for who will rule this land (America). There was a reference to the almond branch and how it is the first to bud in Israel. We are being called to hasten, watch, and awake just as the almond blossoms in January. Eyes are beggining to shift to MN! She also spoke of a Root 52 initiative which is focused on covering every state as well as the government with prayer this year. Sensed God saying MN stands for My Nation! A profound statement she made was in reference to her time in Houston where a confession was made that "we aren't for the donkey, we aren't for the elephant, we are for the Lamb!" We can't be bought, and can't be sold! Minnesota is called a Hinge as it is called to bear the weight for an opening in this nation.

Chuck Pierce: Minnesota is a threshing floor state- separation of the harvest takes place on the hard floor. MN will be a model of God's new strategy. References were made to Jeremiah and Daniel as to beginning to see new things and that setting the timing of how we are to respond to God. Highlight is Daniel 9-10. He made reference also the fact there is reformation in Minnesota's DNA, and He referenced the Lutheran Charismatic Renewal. We must know timing. We must not back up, move forward into the new things God has.

Father we thank you for these words, we test them against your word and hold fast to what is good. We thank you for what you are saying and bless the name of which is above every other name forever: Jesus!

The large purpose for this blog is to communicate the logistics of Fast21, as well as to record and communicate what the Lord is speaking to His corporate Body in the state of Minnesota throughout the duration of the fast. This blog will continue to exist after the fast is over, so that all can have an on-line record of what the Holy Spirit spoke to us as a unified body throughout the state.

How this Blog Works

All the leaders that will be facilitating the prayer and worship nights throughout the three weeks of the fast will compose a blog post after their respective worship meetings that they helped lead. Within these posts the leaders will record things that the Lord spoke and testimonies of things that He did at their meeting that night. This blog is not for the leaders to just record what they felt the Lord speak to them, rather, it is a blog meant to record what anyone receives from the Holy Spirit. This includes dreams, visions, encounters, impressions, etc.

To make this possible, at each location there will be pieces of paper that will be available so that anyone can record what the Lord is speaking to them prophetically. All these papers are to be given to the leader each night so that they can read them and possibly post them for the greater body of Minnesota to read. Let us all come before the Lord in humility to listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches of Minnesota!

Fasting Resources

There has been a resurgence of fasting in recent decades, as God calls His people to regular fasting as part of a normal
Christian lifestyle. The following is a general overview of biblical precedent and guidelines for wise fasting.
The practice of regular fasting as normal Christian behavior was taught by Jesus (Matthew 6:16–17 and 9:15), exercised
by the early church (Acts 13:2), and has been the regular discipline of believers throughout church history. The practice
of fasting in Scripture usually includes, but is not limited to, abstinence from food (Daniel 10:3) and may be engaged in
for varying durations, typically for no more than a few days at a time. Abstaining from all food for extended periods of
time is biblical, but was rare and unusual in Scripture (Exodus 34:28; 1 Kings 19:5–8; Luke 4:2), and thus should never
be undertaken without counsel and appropriate supervision. The same standard applies to an absolute fast (Esther fast—
no food or water) of any duration (Esther 4:16). The maximum length of an adult fast that can be supported biblically is
forty days without food for a male adult in good health, and three days without water. The Bible does not speak of
children engaging in fasting food.
Fasting is always voluntary. Though spiritual leaders may invite others to join in corporate fasting with a specific goal in
mind and for a specific time, fasting can never be forced or made compulsory. In light of this, fasting is not a mandatory
requirement for joining the IHOP–KC staff or community, but we do promote and encourage it as a biblically and
historically proven means of obtaining God’s grace in the context of commitment to prayer and to the Word (Joel 2:15).
The level at which a person engages in fasting (particularly food) should be determined according to age and with regard
to any physical limitations. Those with a known or suspected physical disability or illness, or those with any history of an
eating disorder, should never fast except in consultation with, and under the supervision of, a qualified doctor. Minors are
discouraged from fasting food and should never engage in fasting without express parental consent and oversight. Minors
who desire to fast are encouraged to consider non-food abstentions, such as TV, movies, Internet surfing, video games
and other entertainment. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should not fast food or drink as it could negatively affect
the health and development of their baby and their own personal health.
Participation in regular fasting as a lifestyle necessitates a healthy lifestyle on days when food is not being fasted, and
should include exercise and a proper diet. A “fasted lifestyle” is a disciplined lifestyle, in which we steward our bodies
and time with wisdom and diligence. Fasting is not only abstention; it is an exchange where we abstain from certain
things in order to “feast” on God’s Word and prayer, whereby the abundance of His grace is made more readily available
to us. When undertaken with this type of commitment, a fasted lifestyle is sustainable on a long-term basis, just as it was
for Daniel and his friends (Daniel 1).
While the physical impact of fasting is real, the spiritual benefits of fasting are undeniable. Any fast undertaken must be
done with spiritual wholeheartedness and wisdom when dealing with our physical body; we must count the cost honestly
and honor the temple of the Holy Spirit. Whether we are partaking or abstaining, everything should be for the glory of
